Bulls and Bands

The best thing about living in a country town is the sense of community which prevails.  The gift of helping others is strong and well and demonstrated in grand fashion last weekend with the Bulls and Bands Flood Appeal.

What better way to raise some much needed funds for our flood affected neighbours than by having a rodeo and hosting the amazing Wolfe Brothers!  Country people know exactly how to do it in style!

Market and food stalls, a childrens tent full of movies, Wii games, sumo wrestling suits, popcorn and fairy floss, and some cool bands and singers for the grownups!

The kids were allowed to play in the rodeo ring when the main band started, and that was where they stayed for the rest of the night...covered in mud!

It was the best time!
