I once handed back 5 cents to a homeless man after he had dropped it. He was dirty and smelly but he said in a polite well educated voice "thank you ma'am". I thought about that alot. If I get overcharged in a shop I always tell the cashier, it's just the right thing to do.
2. I am a good friend. I always have a shoulder for my friends to cry on, and an ear to listen. Even though I don't see some friends as often as I like, I love that we can reconnect easily. I love that my friends hug me when we meet.
3. I am very compassionate towards people, and I particularly feel sympathy for homeless people. Who knows what kind of life they had and what brought them to this stage in their lives.
4. I am very happy in my own company. I prefer to go to the movies alone, something which my friends find amusing. I travelled to America by myself and was so proud of this accomplishment.
5. I have a great sense of humour, a definate dry wit, something I inherited from my dad. I do good sarcasm, and crave things that make me laugh.
6. I am a fabulous mother and a calm, patient and caring wife (see number 5 above regarding sarcasm) (this is really hard because I don't like writing these things about me, can I really be this fabulous?) and my children adore me. My husband and I have been together for 22 years so he's not sick of me yet.
7. If I set my mind to something, I achieve it. Whether it is travelling overseas, bungee jumping or raising healthy, happy yet noisy children - I do it and I do it well.
