Little Aussie Animals

Just some little "things" we deal with on a daily basis here on the farm....in Australia. You still want to come visit??

Some "pretty faced wallabies" we found near the shed the other evening....

Two little green frogs we found one night....but we have soooo many frogs and toads out here, but I liked these guys....

And then we came across this little fella
in our pool filter basket. Although he is called a common bandy bandy, we were very honoured to see him as this type of snake as it is very rare and not alot of people get to see them (words from the mouth of a snake handler). We took him down the paddock and let him go.

And if you are not freaked out yet, here's a little green tree snake that we found in the office the other day....we think it hitched a ride on some timber brought in....

And yes that's me holding him....

Here I am pretending to be scared..

See him curled up around my arm.....

Of course I still want to come visit!!!! You have an open invitation to Laguna Beach any day, also!

I think I kissed all of those frogs. I wondered where they went to.

Yanno, I've been out in the bush for 8 months now. When summer rolled around I got millions of warnings about the snakes. I haven't seen a single one!!!

Nor have a seen a kangaroo(except for road kill).

O.k. you had me at the little "wallabies" but you lost me at the snakes! Great pics, though!

Yeah, you had me too until the snakes. All was good until then.

Aw, the wallabies are adorable. Those frogs look very healthy! Beautiful color. Ok, not a fan of snakes, but they really are fascinating. Great pics!

I like snakes too, we get the good ones and the bad ones here. Your critters are cuter than ours for the most part. I mostly have a gang of racoons that think they're cats.

I'm like Indiana Jones - I don't do snakes.

Those kangaroos, however, are super-cool!

Great photos!

Stopping back by because I have an Award for you at my blog. It's very beautiful but not as cute as a wallaby!

OK, are those wallabies nuisances, because I think they are awfully cute.
