The Easter Bunny wants to eat your children

I'm sure this post has been done before, but it's just too good to waste. Warning, scary photos ahead.....

I wanted to chat today about Easter. What a lovely time of the year. A time for families to be together. To participate in the annual Easter Egg Hunt. To OD on chocolate eggs.

I always hide lots of chocolate eggs around the farm and the kids grab their containers and have a great time finding the eggs.

And I usually forget where I have hidden them, and two months later we find them, melted in their foil wrappers. The eggs, not the kids.

But something has disturbed me about Easter. And the tradition that is the Easter Bunny.

Has there ever been such a scary, malevolent creature as the Easter Bunny. The big unnatural ears, the gleaming eyes, the teeth (omg) and the menancing grin..

I always imagined he would look like this, in my dreams and my thoughts....

But I am starting to have my reservations after coming across pics of him, in various guises looking happy and carefree and ready to eat the kids. Just take a look at these examples:

These are only a sample of the suspect, scary Easter Bunnies that can be found, sneaking around the cabbage patch, depositing chocolate eggs for unsuspecting children to find.

It's a conspiracy, it really is.

Ok, those just completely made me want to burst into tears and scream Mama at the top of my lungs.
I looked over them twice for the thrill of creeping myself out.

But the one on top could possibly be the cutest thing I've ever seen.

No wonder that poor little one in the first picture is on the verge of tears!
