Girl Time

Today I took Miss T (aged 6) on a lunch and shopping date.

I try to take each of my children separately on dates, and it is such a special time.

Today, it was Miss T's date, and we had a really wonderful day.

She said to me "Mama, you have spoiled me today. You are the best Mama in the world"....

Miss T wanted to choose a dvd to watch so we went to Video Ezy as our first stop.

We then lunched at Jamaica Blue, and the food was awesome. Miss T was perfect company.

Shopping was next, and she spent her money on a Barbie DVD and a Pillow Pet, whom she immediately called Lily, and took to bed to cuddle for the night.

A hot donut was next before we drove home in the rain....

It was the perfect day......

Sounded like you had such a lovely day.
I love having personal dates with each of my kids. And isn't it amazing how different they all are - they love different things, and so you end up doing different stuff.:)

Glad you had a great day. Even more fun times are ahead. Now that my little girl is 10 we go get pedicures together while sipping lattes and readng magazines. Ah, the good life!

Those days are very precious aren't they. They drive us mad, but when we have that quality time with them it's extremely special.

What a wonderful day you had and as for that Pillow Pet....I would love to have one to put with my Easter bunny (that sings a song) and my 3 Christmas bears. At 80 I am falling in love with stuffed toys all over again. Perhaps it is because there were really none available when I was a child. x
