Valentines Day ♥

Happy Valentines Day Lovers ♥

Look what I got !

Today The Hubbster and I spent a romantic day painting the verandah handrails!

Husbands are strange creatures.

First he says "don't put the paint on too thin.."...an hour later he says "don't put the paint on too thick".

Then he says "watch out for the paint beading....."

I haven't done alot of painting which was obvious today when I stood on the drip tray and walked paint all over the deck.

Hahah...reminded me of my husband who was complaining about my workmanship when I was helping him with the caulking before we painted our house...he ended up paying someone else to paint the house (thank goodness) But...apparently I did a much freaking better job than the painter, that he had to pay!! LOL!

Sounds to me like he wanted your help...but should have done it himself! lol. What are you going to fill the rails in with?

Beautiful flowers btw.

I love your home...the right type for Australian conditions too.
At 80 and 82 we decided against buying cards for each other and cut flowers don't last long in Perth's hot summers so just said "Happy Valentine's Day" to each other.
Thinking about what we would be having for dinner that night I asked MOH if we should buy dinner. Immediate answer was "Chinese?" to which I said yes so we enjoyed a lovely meal to celebrate yet another Valentine's Day together.
