A Sunny Farm Day

We have lots of different areas on our farm that we have named.

We have The Football Field, The Shooting Area, where I love to shoot swinging tin cans from the tree, and Dee Dee's Ditch, where Miss D stacked the motor bike one evening.

There is also an area that we have christened The Pit of Death. This spot down the front of the property is a big hole in the ground, filled with chicken coop wire and carcasses of unknown animals.

The kids like to ride the motor bike and the quad bike down there and think they are on some big tv show where they get to do motorbike tricks and scary challenges!

If you look downhill from the house, you will see The Thunderdome....a dam that when half full allows for some awesome motor bike fun.

Today we had some doggy visitors who enjoyed a swim and a run around in the fresh air.

Laurie, Tiger, Milly, BJ and Onyx had a great time swimming (and drinking) the dam water and we found some blue crab pincers that were left around the edge of the water.

So much space! And yet I'm not envious, not at all. Years ago I would have been, but now I prefer my small home with very little yard, it's enough for me to handle.

Ah, what a kid's paradise! Love all that imagination at work with The Pit of Death and The Thunderdome... it DOES sound like scary thrill seeking fun.
Awesome pics, that pack of pooches look like scallywags, but so cute! xo
