Here's the Deck

I had my dentist appointment for my ROOT CANAL treatment tommorrow but I have had to cancel it. Yes I know, I was looking at reasons to cancel because I hate the thought of it...so I decided to get a cold sore instead. From the stress of hating the dentist so much. It's like Root Canal or Cold Sore.....let me think which do I prefer?????

We went on a kindy excursion today to the post office and the fire station, where the kids posted a letter to themselves and had a go at using the fire hose. They are having a teddy bears picnic and tuckshop later in the day...life's a beach at kindy!

Here are the promised pics of the deck that I will oil at some stage. The timber is Queensland Blue Gum, which is a very rich red colour and is just divine....

oohh that pool looks inviting! Also I think your deck is the size of my entire house lol. I can't wait to see it all finished. Thanks for posting updates =)

The dentist is no fun, but it sounds like the day you had instead was a lot of fun!

The deck looks awesome!! and so does the pool. It's going to look fantastic when it is all done :) Urgh ... I hate cold sores but have to agree that I'd choose one of those over the dentist as well LOL. The kindy excursion sounds like it was fun .... I remember getting a letter from my boys once when they did something similar. Keep the photos coming ..... :)

Gorgeous wood! Wow! And that deck is HUGE- I'm jealous. Wish we had a pool too. Wow, thanks for making me covet. Can't wait for the next set of construction porn.

Wait, did you say deck? I didn't realize you were talking about the deck of the TITANIC! Holy moly, that's huge. :-) Love the red. That's the same color as our deck, only ours is made of Trex and about 1/1000th the size! But mine is in Colorado, so I win. Bwaaahaaahaaaa.

The decking looks fabulous, as does the pool. With the sky as blue as that I would be in that pool all day. Yes, not sure the choice is a good one really, root canal or coldsore. Can't win.

We have a timber lot full of Queensland Blue Gum. My man has planted enough timber to build our kids homes plus some Mahogony for some furniture ... what do you farm?

Now see, if I'd known you had a pool I'd never had been nice to you. I'm a jealous little brat in that way. And now you're getting a GINORMOUS deck? Ugh! All can be forgiven for a first class ticket to Australia for a dip in the pool and a BBQ on that deck. Your call :)
