My Getting My Shit Together or November To Do List is going along well. You can see I've already crossed off numerous items but I still have a way to go. I'm actually finding it easy to get things done because they are listed here and I am kind of in a race with myself to get it all finished.
I did the bookshelf and the kids clothes yesterday. Here's proof.
As you can see, the kids clothes are stored in crappy, cheap drawers that fall apart and need to be glued back together. That's a job for today.
There are five of us sleeping in the same room, sharing, 3 small wardrobes and two sets of these crappy drawers.
I can't wait, I really can't, for our house to be finished, so everyone will have a walk in cupboard, complete with strong, hardwood shelving. I can almost taste the space!
Oh here's some pics from my travel series..

The fact that you are coping with 5 in the same room is jaw dropping. I could not cope. xx
It will be worth the wait
Oh yes, I imagine the dreams of your own room and own walk-in closet are almost to much to bear. Hang in there, it will make the reward so much sweeter.
I'm in denial it's November already, la la la la la la. I did the children's bookcase last week, so ner. Well ner to me actually as i just had to re-do-it as there were a good 20 books just dumped on top of the perfectly lined up & straight, organised into order books, argh!! Love Posie
You're going to love it! Being all organized and clean and spacious will be so much more enjoyable now.
Hang in there!! Admire your organisational skills, with I was more like that. It will all be worth it, your house will be amazing.
great work :) you are awesome hanging out together for so long - can't wait for that exciting post about move in day!
What a great blog - I have only just found it. I am especially identifying with your November list. Every time I tidy up bookshelves/clothes drawers etc though one of my kids just comes along and untidies it. I am seriously considering superglueing the books down.
Enjoy your day.
Look at that organisation! I am in awe lady. (you really don't want to see my bookshelves/cupboards right now)
I am sooooo glad to see that other mothers too have "update the kids 5 year books" on thier to do list. lol. Mind you kids are now 6 and 8. Oh well .....
