As you can see by my last post, I simply do not have time to exercise!
That is way down my to do list.
How sad is that?
I need to regroup, refocus and get my blogger butt off the couch and into my gym pants.
We have had such a busy term, my priorities have been the kids, school, work, the kids activities, the farm chores, driving everywhere (sigh) so I physically do not have time for even a walk let alone a gym session.
How sad is that?
Which is crazy.....haven't I got a spare 1/2 hour to walk around the farm?
Don't I have time to chase guinea fowl around the paddock?
As I posted yesterday, change is in the air. Time management is afoot.
Exercise must be moved to the top of my list...because although I am so tired, I absolutely know for sure that if I exercise I will feel better. I just have to start.
Well I weighed in at 67.9, so I've only gained 100 grams. That's okay.
Oh and about that diet thing.....I just ate two chocolate hot cross buns.
How sad (and delicious) is that?

As mothers, our priorities are our family, and keeping on top and on track of everything....this too shall pass (apparently). May the school holidays give you a chance to slow down and give yourself some breathing space. smiles
I think "Exercise must be moved to the top of my list" to, i have noticed that it is slowly falling down towards the bottom.. :(
Lucy is right though, We must "Make the time", and move it back up the list..
Good Luck on the new week!!
You are so right. Thanks for the reminder...
I hear you!!!! Every day it is constantly on my mind.....that is as far as I get! Doh!!!!
You will feel better, make the time for it. It sounds like from this and the previous post that change is afoot. Can't wait to hear about it next week. Good luck xx
Of course we should all 'make time' and everyone who DOES make time tells me all the time how wonderful it is. But I can't seem to find that time slot. Maybe one day, but not this week methinks!
I think you know when it's time for change. I think you're going make those changes. Your post from Wed. was me until I started on this Battle. Some weeks I have a bad week, but I don't have that "band aid" feeling anymore. Sleep and exercise has been the key, and one begets the other! I will ALWAYS be HUGELY thankful to the Battle of the Blogger Butt for bringing me the joy of sleep again. I may never run that marathon I dream of, or quite get to 58kgs, but the sleep and the greater sense of calm I feel, have been unexpected benefits from the Battle.
But hot cross buns? Only a week of them left- resistance is futile. I will be eating AT LEAST two EVERYDAY until this time next week!
I hear you, finding time to exercise is just so hard when there is so much to do. I hope that exercise climbs to the top of your priority list and you reap the benefits of more energy. Good luck.
Just so you know Wifey. I fully intend on taking you up on this "Blogger Butt" challenge. Ugh. Give me the weekend to let it sink in that you are now the enemy.. I mean, um, that you have set forth this "Blogger Butt" challenge to encourage a healthy life style.. Ugh. Again. But just so you know. I'm not going it alone! I am dragging my husband and my sister in on it too! If I must suffer, so must they, as will you when my blog is filled with nothing but whining and constant reminders to all in the land of blogging - complete with links back to your page ;) - That YOU are trying to kill me! I'm sure one day when I'm all excited about lost lbs., inches and renewed energy I'll be thanking you but today.. I'm gonna' eat me some cookies! :p
You can do it! This reminded me of the time I was watching Oprah's Get Up and Moving show while eating not one, but two or more Reeses buttercups. I got right up off the couch and took a stroll around the block.
do you think the above comment is from a spam blog?
I know the feeling of not enough time to exercise but if we want to get rid of the blogger butt we have to get off the couch and away from the computer. I'm still working on this.
Yes but...those mocha hot cross buns are so yum, and they won't make them after Easter. Wouldn't it be sort of a saving - or an investment - to scoff them while they're available?
