So you probably know by now that we are all sleeping in the same room while we wait for that magical day when we move into The Money Pit.
The Hubbster and I are down one end of the bedroom and the 3 kids are at the other end.
Bedtime is chaos. The Hubbster usually goes to bed early so the kids have to go to sleep as well.
The other night the two youngest were being noisy and silly so he kicked them out of the bedroom.
They came in to me in the loungeroom and it went a bit like this:-
Kids "Mum, Dad kicked us out. What should we do now?"
Farmers Wifey "I don't know, but you can't stay in here. I'm watching Criminal Minds!"
The kids went into the kitchen where they had the best time playing Lego and eating chocolates until 11.30pm.
Apparently they also helped themselves to peanut butter and honey sandwiches, as evident here:-
I fully expected an ant colony to move in overnight, but Miss T (aged 6) wiped down every tin and bottle and enjoyed doing it. She's awesome ♥

OMG!!!!!! ...giggle!
Don't you love it when kids try to get themselves something to eat? I woke up one morning when my oldest son (now 23) had decided he wanted some watermelon for breakfast. He knew that at 5 he couldn't use a knife so what did he do to open the watermelon? dropped it on the kitchen floor. I found him with a spoon in hand and a large piece of the watermelon on his lap.
Oh boy, nothing worse than a sticky mess!
At least the kitchen had a lovely sweet smell for the rest of the day!
Oh no what a mess ! Hope the magical day is imminent.
We are all sleeping in the caravan at the moment , except for last night when we stayed back in the shed due to a blackout (hubby was away too). My kids have played for hours this morning with Lego/Duplo = GOLD !
Is it bad that I laughed when I seen the pic? *blush* PLease don't jinx me so my kids do it to me lol
Just think, you're a day closer to the move ;)
OMG at the mess, but how awesome indeed of Miss T to help clean it all up!!
omg one day closer to moving in to our house! One less mess to clean up :)
I do hope you get to move in very soon and I'm glad the ants didn't find the honey trail.
Fingers crossed for a move soon.
At least they didn't interrupt Criminal Minds to get you to make it AND they cleaned it up themselves. They are gems.
Lol....it's always the honey.
And I too, would not have let ANYthing get in the way of my Derek - I mean, Criminal Minds.
Ewwwww.... what a mess!
Oh Girls, it was messy that's for sure!!!!!
So I am the only one that it JUST dawned on that sharing the bedroom with the kids would be somewhat... 'frustrating'?
Oh my lovely, you have no idea how fruatrating it is, we have no space, no storage, no privacy, well the kids had a sleepover at nannys Saturday night and The Hubbster and I had a very romantic evening :):)
See I'm so frustrated that I can't even spell frustrated!
