They are now painted in our favourite colours of Antique White USA and Woodland Grey.
We have gone with a very wide top handrail.
Can you see me sitting here with my steak, chips and wine!
The Hubbster has been busy building the stringers for the verandah stairs and once they are all in, we will add the stainless steel wire under the handrails.

WOW..this place needs some exposure to Architectural Digest...what to you think!?
Wide top rails are the best! sit your beer and bbq'd lunch on them, rest your coffee mugs, kids can run their toy cars on them, potplants can be placed at corners (or anywhere else), cats can sleep on them....limitless opportunities really.
