We had a day in town today starting with the doctor for me at 8.30am. I had to have a biopsy on a spot on my hand and I had a grand total of .....one (1) yes one (1) stitch. It's really hurting now but because The Hubbster has a stainless steel pin through his toe and numerous stitches running down the side of his foot, who am I to complain about the pain of one (1) stitch.
I am a suck at medical stuff and pain now, conveniently forgetting the fact that I have had 3 children, all with natural childbirth and no drugs, but with stitches in my who haa that apparently disolved at some point. I coped with that but am now needing a wine to combat this one (yes one) stitch. Apologies to my one and only Male Reader for too much information about my girly bits.
We then (along with my numb hand) went to the park and joined the other ladies from my mothers group in a playdate. I love my mothers group. We have been together for 9 years and try to catch up in the holidays. We now have alot of kids between us. So when we went to McDonalds for lunch, they saw us coming and put extra burgers on....joke.
Now Miss D and Mr C are having a sleepover at their Nanny and Poppys house, so it's very quite. I really miss them, although they are all fighting like crazy now the school holidays are nearly over. We have been so busy. But we have had a few days at home too, just playing. Yesterday we played football and baseball in the tennis court, and the kids made pizza for lunch.
Oh the fucking pain.
We get our internet hours back tommorrow as it's a new month. I apologise to my loyal readers for the utter slackness in my commenting but with this computer so slow it's almost painful trying to read blogs and comment. And I miss catching up with you guys so I am going to get stuck into your blogs post haste...
I haven't even been to the dentist yet. That is postponed to October sometime. I better not cancel again. I'm running out of excuses.
Well, gotta go and numb the pain.....or open a bottle as they say.

One stitch?! Why didn't they just use liquid bandaids?
They must have really done some digging and scraping under that one stitch for it to hurt so badly!
You know sometimes that one little thing does hurt more than a bigger one LOL .... AND it is on your hand which is really hard to not move so I hope you enjoyed your wine *hehe*. Hope it heals quickly ... and get your arse to the dentist before it gets worse!! :)
It's not so much about how many stitches it's what they did to it before they put the stitch in that makes it hurt....
And I so know what you mean about slow net cramping your commenting... we go there just about every month!
Yikes, I hope you are feeling better! I might need some wine just from hearing you had three natural child births.. supermom!
Oh Ouch ... I hope the wine worked and you are feeling better!
