I've had another busy week...not enough time in my day to get everything done.
I suppose that's what it means to be a mother.
I'm really tired at the moment and because I work part time, I'm coming home and going to bed really late because I just need some time to chill on the sofa.
Bedtime calls me but I just don't go. I have to change that.
I've also fallen back into my bad habit of snacking after tea..I don't need it but it's almost like I have to do something with my hands.
Maybe instead of eating naughty treats, I could do the ironing (see recent post).
My back is okay, if I bend the wrong way or twist when I shouldn't, it tells me to stretch and wake up to myself. I still haven't been to pilates....it's a time issue again. On my two days off a week, I have so much to do that I just can't drive into town and "waste" half the day....
And that is my problem. I need to make time for exercise. I'm so tired in the mornings, I can't get out of bed early enough for a walk.
I have so many things I have to change. I can see it clearly.
My weight loss table is like this:-
Start 70.5 kg
Week 1 69.7 kg
Week 2 69.9 kg
Week 3 69.3 kg
Week 4 69.9 kg
Week 5 70.3 kg
Week 6 70.1 kg
Not enough change....
The thing that has kept me going, is the motivation, support and encouragement from you..my fellow blogger butt battlers..
This week I am going to stop eating after dinner and just be satisfied with a cup of tea.
I am going to drink alot more water. Something that I have to force myself to do.
I completely believe that my weight loss will be slow and steady. I don't care if I lose only 500 grams or a kilo a week. As long as it's consistent.
Don't forget to leave me a comment with your link and I will be sure to visit and link up as we can't use McLinky this week!
Until next week xox

Try inlinkz they have a free linky. here is my post http://theclipcafeblog.blogspot.com/2011/02/blogger-butts-update-4-for-me.html
Time is our enemy hey! I had no change but have only been walking no real concentrated exercise. Maybe this week.... :-)
I think you are being totally realistic in your goal - and that's really important. I like that you committed your plan for the week to the blog. More water and less snacks - that's doable. When you feel like snacking, substitute some activity instead (yeah, like that ironing!!) Or make a rule that you can't have a snack until you have done x, y or z.
When I was in college I would only visit the snack machine if I ran down the stairs to the machine, and back up. That was 7 floors. I didn't visit the machine that often!
Good luck! Rememeber, "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels"!

Oh, it's hard to keep up with everyone with out Mr linky on our side.
It's hard work changing but I'm sure it's going to be totally worth the effort. (PS I've given up ironing - unless necessary)!!
It's so hard to stay motivated when you're so tired, but keep at - you WILL get there!
It may sound like slow progress, but it's still progress - and slow weight loss is proven to be more long term loss than rapid weight loss (so try to keep that in mind as motivation)
Pity about mclinky, but here's my week's offering:

Pilates is hard but it actually ended up being the stretches and muscle strengthening exercises I needed for my physical therapy. I ordered off of ebay or amazon Windsor Pilates... there are several out there.. just get your self a good mat unless you have thick carpet where it doesn't hurt to lay on your back for a while. I am glad to be back to reading most of the people I follow and Blogging a bit too. It's been a strange year and it's not quite to the June 10 anniversary of my life changing.... LOL But happy to report it was definately a change for the better. Also if you can walk on your break that's normally 15 mins and that at least gets you going... which is normally my problem. Funny if you get kicked out of the house by your soon to be ex. and you ex bff moves in it's kinda like auto diet. I am just now starting to need to exercise to maintain the weight I lost. Oh well at least it's another great thing about the life changing year. Hugs and good luck on everything.
this challenge is so tough - what have we done to ourselves. c'mon Michelle we so have to do this. I will join you in the no snacking after tea and lets see what difference it makes for next week. We need to get serious as the days are slipping away. YOU are doing so well considering all the challenges you are dealing with. Stay focused - you can do it. I am here with you - message me anytime. Naomi xx
Pilates sure is a tricky one, but also makes you feel great after finishing a session.
