I interupt my Saturday night horror movie to bring you a House Update.
I know my stuff. Give me zombies, werewolves or vamps anyday.
I'm watching a remake (or trainwreck) of The Howling, but it's more like The Stinking, because it stinks.
I know this because I've googled the ending, I'm downloading photos and I'm tweeting while listening to this stinky movie.
It's like a poor mans Twilight, made without the vampires and the trillion dollar budget.
And without Jacob Black, so yes it does particularly stink.
But I'm so happy to present to you our Fretwork.
Isn't. It. Divine ♥
We have two other ceiling roses to put up. I love them, but I don't envy the painter who has to paint them!

Simply stunning!
Beautiful.
Nothing horrific there.
Except - if you are the painter.
:-)
I've just caught up with your last three posts and have to say it's coming along really nicely. I LOVE the louvres above the internal doors!! what a great idea!
The water tanks too, I dream of having a rainwater tank, but in a block of flats where would I put one?
I've lived in houses that had fretwork, I loved winding tinsel through it at Christmas and hanging windchimes from it.
Well lovelies, my work is done. You love the fretwork as much as I do ♥
No. Wrong.
I love the fretwork MORE than you!
Divine. Just divine.
LOVE!
Beautiful and Divine! Loving it x
Oh My, that is just STUNNING!
Oh, it really is beautiful.
I am, however a little afraid for our friendship right now.
Are you...(gasp!) Team JACOB????
Oh it's stunning! It's all coming together now!
Love it. You are getting oh so close now!
Michelle it's gorgeous, I love it!
Oh girls, thank you so much! Bringing you house eye candy every day.....
@ Melissa, we were becoming such good friends too, don't let my love for Jacob stand in our way :)
oooh pretty!
That is beautiful. I love ornate decoration like this. Living in an old farm house, we have many original features, mainly from the Georgian period and I love them all.
CJ xx
Hun! It's gorgeous!
Really great pictures and everything is so lovely! Wish you best of luck!
I love the fretwork ... but I can tell you from experience it is a bugger to paint but well worth it. It'll look great when it is done :)
